Both MP4/18 and F2003-GA delayed

Both teams seem in no rush. McLaren were supposed to test their new car this week at Paul Ricard, but decided not to. And Ferrari just announced that they will not be taking the F2003-GA to Imola, instead the new car will be race debuted at Barcelona.

well who cares cause they wouldnt bring em to melbourne, so i couldnt give a stuff if they didnt show up for another 2 years.

maybe afta all they are the 2004 cars....just we dont know it yet!

like this could go on all season. "oh it will be at the next race cough!..cough! i mean its a total hoax!

maybe its just that ferrari arent used to losing all the time so they are just trying to make out that this years f2002 is this years f2003-ga.

but i cant explain Mclaren! well i could you just wont read it thats all

i think its great you have read this far

They don't?

They certainly aren't doing it with the 2002 chassis, so what is your next theory?

Last time I checked, a Jordan finished ahead of everyone in the last race. Should we get worried??

Is that a cover up for another team that didn't have ANY cars that finished?

With the current state of things, why rush getting a new chassis on the track? McLaren are 1 & 2, Ferrari think their F2002 is good enough, and with all aspects of the season so being jumbled, it's obvious the quickest chassis isn't necessarily going to be the answer.

Oh, Michael, that's a very "Casey Jones" attitude. you need to get in that car as soon as possible.

Just to clarify the title of this thread, the MP4/18 is not actually delayed. McLaren have not set a date for it's appearnace. In fact they have said there is no rush to race it while the MP4/17D is doing so well.

Farrari too don't really need a new car at this pont, rather drivers who don't run into things and a more reliable number two car.
