530 v-8 to 540 v-8 swap

Are the 540 and 530 internally balanced and can the flywheels be interchanged. Do they bolt up and do they have the same counterweight if they are not internally balanced engines. I'm sure the 540 ecu needs to go with the engine but what else needs to be changed. Has anybody done this swap????

Older post; but not feasible unless you like wasting money. The 530i would have to have nearly the entire front subframe replaced, as the rack and pinion will not work with the V8. The computers are all programmed to the engine also I believe. The swap would cost far more than just selling or parting out the 530i and buying a nice 540i.
