Hey i have been giving the chance to drive around my g/f's 1993 MR2. Although it isnt supercharged its still a pretty nice car. She is wanting to pimp it out and make it faster. I told her you guys could help her out since she doesnt know anything about cars and i know nothing about MR2's. Hopefully you can help. Thanx:smoka:

If you're mechanically inclined, you can turbo the 2.2
You can buy a jspec rear clip and do a motor swap. You can also get headers, cams, intake, exhaust, hi comp. pistons, machined head, etc. and go with the all motor set up but that's farily limited in power.

what mr yasir is saying is that you should get a turbo engine for that car since itz a 2.2 the turbo is 2.0, us spec the turbo is 65 hp more than the n/a (non aspirated), but if i was your gf i would go for the turbo jspec 3sgte engine which ranges from 2g to 3gz and i would prefer the 2nd gen (if i'm right itz around 220hp) since itz much easier to modify, after you get the turbo you would want to get a turbo timer so that you don't mess up your engine...than get a boost control to control your boost...oh and bov (blow off valve) you wanna be able to trip people out (preferablly the apexi one...that one is nice) than all the other good stuff that helpz your car goes faster (intercooler, intake, headerz, exhaust etc.) heheheheheheh, i can't wait till i get mine....

the jspec 3sgte 2nd gen is around 2g to 3gz...dependz on who and where you're getting it from, and most likely the engine is going to be used
