74 Plymouth Fury III
I am a Ford Fan who needs some advice. My neighbor has a really nice 74 Fury III 2 dr hdtp with 360 a/t a/c p/s p/b Runs good looks good. His Mom bought it new and she recently passed on. I would love to have this car but neither of us know the value. I dont want to rip him off but I dont want to pay too much either. Can someone tell me a ball park figure for a car like this??

the car weighs 5300 lbs, if you do it 50cents on the pound plus too that come out to be $2850, elrod, do some research on the cars, the s/b 360 fitted with 340 heads produces a nice 335 hp, which is a very healthy amount for any small block. but remeber, to some people the v-rod is a piece of shit, and the fury is a gold nugget amoung turds, its all in the eye of the beholder, and yes, i do like the v-rod for further reference, and i meant the bike

Re: 74 Plymouth Fury III
OOPS! I made a typo.I meant a nickel.Any way an engine has to produce at least 1hp per ci to impress me.335hp from 360ci is poor.My piece of shit is 69ci with 117hp@5200 rpm'sat on the asphalt. The W heads on the throttle body 360 is a much better choice for the toad! Read it baby toad not turd.Toad as in big and ugly like a ford.

Re: 74 Plymouth Fury III
I would agree with boots $2000.
BTW, you can get into 500-600 HP with a 360 in a real performance build. |

Re: 74 Plymouth Fury III
Altho, if you make a 360 in a 500-600 fire breathihng monster, you are going to spend more on the engine then the car is worth, the 335 is a 4ble heads and cam, but i have no room to speak, i had a 67 fury III 4dr with a 383 2bbl running 13.7 on street tires and 89oct. need less to say i was getting 400 hp at the fly wheel, and about 335 at the wheels, he he, that was a fun car

I have a mild 360 (408) stoker on the build with a heavy emphasize on Torque. |
