3.1 or 3.8?...I'd guess 3.1
Looks like you lost the forward clutch..

Re: 1994 lumina apv minivan transmission trbls

I've no personnal experience with this very specific type. This is a hardware problem...no sensor involved. FYI, this is what the service manual says about this 3T40:
NO DRIVE IN ANY FORWARD RANGE:
Oil pressure (my comment: too sudden for that option)
Manual linkage 701-704: not moving manual valve 406 (I'll scan these nukbered items later today)
Driven sprocket support: Drive oil passages blocked in driven sprocket support 602 or gasket, sleeve loose or mislocated (601)
Case cover 401: Drive oil passage leak
FOrward clutch 624-634: burned or damaged plates 625,633,634 (my comment: you say oil is ok so I'd think the clutch itself is not burned but it is not hydrautically activated due to some other cause in this list)
COntrol valve assembly 21: Valve body pipe 370 leaking or broken/missing (my comment: this is accessible from the side cover and it cannot be completely removed while in car)
