1996 Concorde radio interchange
Hi folks, I'm heading to the boneyard tomorrow to (finally) replace the barely-functioning unit in my 1996 Concorde.
My question is, what years will interchange with my '96? Second question, I know from plenty of experience that Chrysler had lots of radio problems in these years, is there any year I should look at that might be less prone to these issues than others? Thanks for the help! |

Re: 1996 Concorde radio interchange
93-97 in any LH body will fit if you want to go with the same style (There were layout changes within that time period but generally they are all made for the LH body) radio. That gives you choices from 93-97 Dodge Intrepids, 93-97 Chrysler Concordes, 94-97 Chrysler New Yorkers and LHS's, and all Eagle Visions.
Generally just about all Chrysler Corp. Radios from the mid to late 70's and up to 97 will work as long as the mounting tabs to the dash are the same, the connections from the radio are all the same also in that time period. but I would stick with the style of radio that was installed in the LH bodies.
