Looking to get into an MR2

I am looking to sell my 1998 Honda Prelude, which I just bought less than two months ago, and get into an MR2. I LOVE my Prelude, but I just realized (after dumping a lot into visuals/basics) how much it will cost to get an H22 Prelude into competition level times. So an MR2 is an opition now after I sell the Prelude. An MR2 or 300ZX (Twin turbo)
Prelude:

So, my question, is this a good buy:

more pics of the mr2:

Any input into the matter is appreciated, I dont know anything about MR2s

Re: Looking to get into an MR2

all i have to say is, that's a nice 'lude. and that's coming from a guy who absolutly hates hondas(except the nsx). it's clean...i give it a 4.5 outta 5. not really likin the chrome lip on the rim. but it aint my car.

mr2's are good cars. i've driven a few. handle well...decent traction for snow(mid engine rwd) not so good for turns in snow. and the only drawback to em...cops will notice that car. i would know, i was just test driving one and got pulled over.
