Chromed Skid Plate on a 2003 Sport
Hi AF crew!
According to some, the accessory "chromed skid plate" cannot be attached to a 2003 model 4Runner. I would like to have that on my ride though. Can it be done? Has it been done? Thanks! |

Seems like you could sand blast your skid plate and then take it to a plating shop to get it chromed. That would certainly fit.

I'm sorry, I just can't get past the "chromed" part of the equation.
 A skidplate goes underneath the truck and takes the abuse when you wheel it. Why would one want chrome? Chrome justs rusts.
