1998 grand prix climate controll and dashboard gear indicator bulbs blinking

when i turn on my lights in my 1998 pontiac grand prix my gear indicator in the cluster and my climate controll lights flicker from time to time but no other lights inside flicker at all any ideas?

Have you checked the battery positive and negative cables and terminals? Also, the positive feed (red cable) to the engine compartment fuse box. Check for corrosion, serviceability and tightness. Plus check the ground at the inner fender apron and at the main engine/tranny grounding stud. Other suggestion is to check the alternator output to make sure it is in specs.

In a worse case situation you could have arcing contacts in the ignition switch and harness assembly. Switch contacts gets carboned up over the years.
