Color glow from dash...

How do you change what color the dash glows, do i need to replace bulbs or is that crappy yellow color a plastic thing put between the bulbs and my dash? (96 cav)

Replace the bulbs with whatever color led you want. Someone on here had done that already...just don't remember who.

Okay, I've not taken apart the cluster on my newer cav like I did on my old one. On the 92 the cluster was lit using bulbs, but you guys talk of LEDs. Is the cluster lit with LEDs from the factory, or is that just the common way to replace them because of the brighter glow and such?

what size bulbs do i need to look for and where can i buy them, a local canadian tire or something? and just take the dash off and the bulbs are visible or is there more work than that?

just taking the stock ones out and putting leds in...

and i got mine from auto zone..most auto places should have some sort of led.... not sure on the size.. not sure but 194 i think???? dont take that for the true size..but it mgiht be.. well tommorrow i am going to take my dash apart and take some pics for people..then i will know the size of it.. it should say on the bulb or the little bracket that holds the bulb.
