96 Lumina APV Wiper troubles
I'm having troubles with my wipers on a 96 Lumina APV, I sometimes have to get out of the vehicle and pull on the wiper arms to get them to start. Once they are running they seem to have a mind of their own and stop where they want even though I didn't turn them off. They also only seem to run in the high speed position and they will go from low speed to high speed. When I do turn them off when thye are running they keep going for about 10 cycles and stop where they want. When this happens they won't start again with out getting out of the vehicle and manually moving the wiper arms.
Any help would be aprreciated. Thanks, Allan |

Re: 96 Lumina APV Wiper troubles
I am having the same problem with my 95 APV and I read somewhere that there is a circuit board in the wiper motor and it needs to be resoldered.
I have been too lazy to take out my wiper motor and try it yet. Jim |

Thanks, I was told the same thing actually, although I'm not going the resoldering route. I'm going to replace the board. It is called the pulse wiper control module, it goes for 62 dollars Canadian. Thanks for the reply.
