Howey,
your parents must love you. that is a pretty car, and fully loaded for its time, in USA it probably sold for close to $18,000 US Dollars in 1985, and was still inexpensive for the time as a "sports" sedan. one of the finest and safest cars built; EVER. (and this is coming from a diehard Chevrolet guy) as far as parts, in America (I'm sure he will UPS mail to your location) the least expensive, and most reliable is: http://www.force5auto.com/ his name is Chris as well, and he even called me back long distance, to get my credit card information, to insure the part was sent the same day. when I got my component, he had even marked down the price of it, to also cover the shipping!!! his website post pictures of the vehicles he has for disassembly, so that you will even be able to see the conditions of interior and exterior parts. he also has pictures of aftermarket rims and tires that will fit your car, but you can probably order something like that through local tire companies near you for much less. also your exact model (only the quattro version) is the famed Audi that climbed the ski jump 25 years ago. the commercial/video can be found at a couple of locations: nordicaudi.com and http://www.25quattro.com/php/flash.php if you need any thing else to assist you in putting it together, keeping it running, or performancing the heck out of her; let us know. hope this helps, chris nrt racing |

she's gonna be a GREAT car. like I said, I am still kinda a diehard Chevrolet guy, but when I started rally racing, and SCCA/CART, I was very impressed with my first foreign vehicle: 1986 VW Jetta 1.8L and when I started doing my research for safest, most reliable, always utilizing cutting edge technology for building a "racecar" for the street: AUDI. nowadays, BMW and Subaru and Honda are making it big, but the Audi Quattro hit the streets (and the race circuit) in '80. any way, good to see you on the forums, and can't wait to hear about when she's ready for the road. chris nrt racing |

Re: My New Car Audi 100
i found a new guard for the car in a place called melbourne about an hour away but it is gunna cost me $180aud witch is a lot considering the car was $500 so im gunna just buy a parts car for around $250-$300.Not much progress mainly because its hard for me to fix things cause i dont know what to do cause im only 13,but i have been taking stuff off like bumpers and interior when i removed all the door stuff the whole window and stuff came completly off the door witch dad was impressed with.this is going to be a slow project cause i can only use it in about 3 years so it will probably be finished just before i get my P plates.
