91 corsica engine cuts out

91 Corsica, 3.1. Starts fine, runs great but after it reaches operating temp about 15 minutes the engine cuts out. I have to wait about 25 minutes before it starts again. Car is not overheating.

Possible crank sensor failure, or ignition module may be dying. Both are responsible for firing on your engine and when failing will act up when warm. Test for fire when engine stalls. The crank sensor is pretty cheap to try first. You can remove the ignition module (sits under your coils) and have it tested at almost any parts store such as NAPA or Advance etc. You will have to remove the coils and module together. The module is very thin and is connected to the coils.
