94 cutlas ciera electrical problem

i have a 1994 olds cutlas ciera 4dr v6 engine auto trans.
my problem is :
even though the ignitiopn is off (even w/key out)power is still getting to my blwer motor, power windows and other acc.
i sent to the shop he tried to replace the switch on the lower column,
with no success.
i checked the alternator, even with the alternator completely unhooked,
the problem still exists.
does anyone know, if there is a relay, that supplies power to the accessories?
if so where is it located?
it wouldn't bother me so much but it's draining my battery, by keeping the power going to the blower motor etc.

note:the mechanic i spoke of did replace the lower switch but it didn't solve the problem.(bad choice of wording, on my part, in my original message)

Re: 94 cutlas ciera electrical problem

The problem you are experiencing is in the ignition circuit. The only way to cure it is to replace the ignition switch at the bottom of the column. You said the mechanic tried to replace the switch so obviously he was unsuccessful. Take it to someone who can change it and the problem should be eliminated.
