Question removing ignition lock cylinder

My daughter's key will not turn the switch. The spare key will not work either. I tried pushing the brakes and turning the steering wheel as I tried to turn it. I think the tumbles must be messed up. Any suggestions or directions on how to replace the cylinder?

Thanks.
Dan

Ignition/Steering locked

I am having a similar problem with my 90 Legend, the whole steering column seems locked, wheel, key, everything. I have tried several keys, put it in neutral and tried wiggling everything...nothing working.

Any Ideas for me??

Thumbs up Fixed!

I sprayed some gel lubricant into the keyhole, giggled the key and steering wheel around and was able to turn it over. I tried wd-40 and that did not work but the gel worked great, that is some good stuff.
