Question Any turbo's ever made for this?

I own a 1990 buick century that has a 3300 in it. I've heard that this is the little brother of the 3800 and I was wanting a turbo not a supercharger for my car. I know it wasn't made to haul ass. But then again was a civic? I've been thinking people can make a weak ass 4 cylinder run over 140 MPH so what can I do with a 204 C.I.D. V6 that's made by buick? any info will be appreciated.

Well no engine is going to run 140mph without some serious internal work.

Search google or check in the forum for your car. More than likely, it will have to be a custom installation.

Re: Any turbo's ever made for this?

you could take the turbo kit made for the 3.8L Grand Prix and modify it to fit the series I. I would just do an L67 swap though, it would be alot easier.

I am talking top end. I don't mean to sound stupid but WTF is a L67?

Re: Any turbo's ever made for this?

the problem you are going to have is that all of the parts you are going to need are going to be custom fabricated. There is no way that you're going to find a turbo header or headers for your car. That is going to have to be custom, along w/ all the tubing for the intercooler. Also where are you going to place an intercooler? The other thing is is that you're going to have to find someone that can help you create an FMU by using different injectors because i really doubt that there is a piggy-back ECU for your car. There are all of these little details that go into making the turbo work that nobody thinks about. If you just tried to slap it together even w/ the manifold, you'd be on here in a month or two complaining that you fried the ringlands on the pistons or blew a hole in one of the piston heads. Work out the details and then worry about the rest of it.

Re: Any turbo's ever made for this?

is there any other ways to make this car cruise about 140 without changing the engine? I know the transmission can do it because it is very high geared, I just want something that will smoke the local ricers around here because I'm tired of hearing the crap about my "grandpa car" I want to prove all these cocky lil asshats around here wrong. I want a V6 that will smoke a 4 Cylinder is that too much too ask?

Re: Any turbo's ever made for this?

L67 swap is BY FAR the easiest and cheapest way to do it.

Re: Any turbo's ever made for this?

I dont want to do an L67 swap. I want my 3300 to do, I'll do whatever it takes, I'm supposed to be going to a few machine shops tomorrow and get some prices.
