I think It's hot!

Looks like a Lexus GS from the front

I'd roll in it...

Re: Lacrosse Coupé

Hell i think the Sedan looks friggin gorgeous, and that looks absolutely beautiful... We got one of these cars in recently and i have to say that the 3.6 engine in those is larger than i thought, at least it looks larger, could be because it's OHC i guess....

Re: Lacrosse Coupé

Holy Crap! That coupe is freakin awesome! If GM built cars like that, the foreign car companies would go out of business.

Unhappy

Needless to say gentlemen, but the coupe' DOES NOT EXIST ! After spending time this AM with a local dealer who researched back to GM found there was no such vehicle nor one planned. It is not even a concept vehicle it is only in our minds. However I was ready to buy.
Had the for sale sign printed out for my present vehicle. Someone did a great job of producing the photo.

Re: Lacrosse Coupé

Do 4 doors bother you that badly? sheesh, it's the same car, just 2 extra doors.

Thumbs down

Bummed... I stopped into my Buick dealer and took a good look and sat in the Lacrosse. I was very shocked at what little legroom there was in the backseat. For a 4 door, the legroom was worse than most 2 doors. My salesman's remark was "yeah, but your Riv is a boat, it's a big car". I said yes, it is, but it's a coupe not a sedan. I walked off and looked at the Rainier; then drove home happy in my Riv...

Re: Lacrosse Coupé

Forsome reason GM got away from 2 door cars. I have heard that some models will be coming out with a 2 door version in the future.

Re: Lacrosse Coupé

Flatrater- Probably because most sales of the cars that had 2/4 door option (Pontiac GP) were 4 door sales, and the cost of engineering a 2 door version was not cost effective.

My uncle bought a 1997 Grand Prix GTP, black, 2 door in 97, he loved that car, until he had to pay for it!

I think the thing that killed the two door is the child safety seat laws. It's just too hard to deal with getting those seats in and out of a two door. Plus, the two door cars were most appealing to the younger folks, the ones with little kids or were soon to have them!

Re: Lacrosse Coupé

My cousin has a baby, and had a 2 door grand am. She now has a 4 door lumina, and swears up and down that it's easier to get the kid in and out of a 2 door. I say wtf.

Re: Lacrosse Coupé

Thats a beautiful car, although I must say that when the LaCrosse 1st came out I was a lil dissapointed because to me there was a striking reseblance to the '97 era ford taurus, THE HELL WITH FORD. But any way..after months of lookin at it and sittin inside at the auto show, and after seein some on rims already, my final thoughts are that the LaCrosse is just a beautiful ass car. I know sumbody is gonna get mad at the taurus comment.
