so i have a aftermarket air filter but not stack for a 01 1.5 mirage.. im too lazy.. i was thinkign about jsut getting a 3'' pvc pipe and connect teh filter to teh stock air intake hose. Will this work as well as a metal intake hose? and can i take that resivior thing off the top of my stock intake hose.

i would reccomend just goin to a local muffler shop a have 3 inch pipe bent to fit and add a silicone coupling to hold it, or summit racing, jegs have mandrel bent tubes for intakes/ exhaust also. pvc is ok but ive heard they fall off easily
