tein hr coilovers

hey everyone this is my first post and i just have a quick question. I have a friend in Japan buys and sells JDM parts and he has a set of Tein HR coilovers used for 670 canadian dollars. Just wondering if these are good coilovers and if thats a good deal. Thanx in advance.

He's trying to screw you over, they're aren't any Type HRs from Tein. There's Type HE, HG, HT, HA, but no HR.

Re: tein hr coilovers

they make hr's but they aren't produced in the usa. It is only in japan just like the ra's. Try looking up tein's website in japan. It is www.tein.co.jp

Re: tein hr coilovers

however, i don't think they make the hr for the 240sx/silvia....the only nissan car it is for is the skyline. don't know if it will still fit the 240sx/silvia/180sx or not.

thanx for the help i will ask him if they are for the 240sx. If they are, that would seem like a pretty good deal on used coilovers to me. Does anyone know anything about what these coilovers are good for such as street use, or mainly drifting?

Haha look how that guy on zilvia hooked up his catch can one to the crank case vent one to the valve cover vent.

still not as bad as the kid that tried to stack bumpers for his silvia headlight.

Im not seeing a 240SX application. cant you get New K-sports for 800 something?

i was thinking of getting those coils or maybe the spl ones. I am not a drifter and they are mainly for street use, but i like the idea of adjustable ride height. Can anyone give me some sites which sell these two coilovers for a good price and do you think this would be a good route to go?

Re: tein hr coilovers

there's definitely an hr peeps... it was discontinued...

thats a fairly good deal if they are in good condition. the hr's are the previous he's. when they stopped making the hr's they started making the he's. they are both very similiar...

finally someone smart. Get D2s/K-sports . You can get em for around $800, they are fabulous. SPLs is another good choice, they are more expensive though
