Stuck Parking Brake
Last Night I tried to reverse my car out of the garage and rear tires were not moving. The parking brake was all the way down, I made sure that I was in the reverse gear, I floored it and my friend said the rear tires were dragging. I eventually got the car to reverse properly by putting the parking brake on and off really quick. This has never happened in the 4 years with my car. Is this something that I should get checked out or is it common?

Re: Stuck Parking Brake
My Neon is stuck in the driveway, sounds like the same problem as yours, rear tire not moving, parking brake weird. What was your problem, and was it an easy fix?

Re: Stuck Parking Brake
put your car in park put your emergency break all the way off and if you have rear drumbrakes go under neath it and hit them hard with a hammer aroud where the e brake cable goes in or around the whole entire drum if you want and your wheel do that to both of the back wheels dont hit them to hard as to of where your hammer goes through them that could be a bad thing lol but they should unlock
