20 Rims" on 2002 Grand Prix
Does anyone have experience with putting 20" rimes and 35 tires on the Grand Prix? Is it feasible?

Re: 20 Rims" on 2002 Grand Prix
I've only seen two GP rollin on dubs, so it is feasible. Here's a pic of one:
http://www.pfyc.com/cotm/gp/wk110_bselleck.jpg I think most 97-03 GP owners avoid 20 inch rims because they require the fenders to be rolled, they are prone to damage, & the high weight of the wheel reduces performance. |

Re: Re: 20 Rims
What do you mean when you say "prone to damage." The car or the rims? I appreciate your input.

You know what you're talking about - the car looks good but the ride is ROUGH. I live in a city with nothing but potholes.
Do you know what it means to "have the fenders rolled"? |

Re: 20 Rims" on 2002 Grand Prix
Rolling a fender involves using a special tool (a fender roller) to reshape the metal around the wheel opening. By bending the fender up and out of the way, the tire will not rub the body and cause noise and uneven wear. The end result produces fenders that are slightly more flared than stock.
