just saw the new bestmotoring video vol3. top 3 jdm vs. world
the skyline gt-r v-spec II and the lancer evo 7 kicked major ass today. in that video it beat teh pants off the nsx, the corvette c51, the ferrari 360 modena f1. and the gt-r was bumper to bumper with the porches 996 turbo with 420hp. and the evo7 being right behind the gt-r. this proves how well the jdm's are engineered to get aroudn that stupid gentlemen agreement.

you do know that the gentlemans agreement is a fake number right? those cars push closer to 330hp...
its like the 60's, when the hp numbers were grossly underrated... like the cars that had 400 hp that were actually pushing 500... those are ultimate jdm cars though, and i give em mad props... but they apparently didnt go against a zo6, which is unfair, b/c those are top o the line jdm's, with a regular vette... why not run em against a zo6, and a porsche gt2, and see what happens... i bet its closer... |

i thought that 996 turbo was the best one with 420 hp. i dont remember the gt3 havin that much and i don't remember the gt2 havein higher numbers.

well to tell you truth. they had a second battle right afterwards. with the hard tuned nismo gt-r. with 450 hp. the nismo pulled up faster lap times but still lost to the porsche csaue the porsche was blockin the drift king. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. one question. sooo the corvetter Z51 is the regular one right/ cause that got burned int eh first battle. i was dead last and lost by like 2 seconds.

the turbo is 420, the gt2 is 465 hp...
and the hardtuned racer you are thinking of is the gt3, which is n/a, not turbo... |
