Your e-brake locks up your rear wheels in most cases. That's why you don't go down a hill when it's engaged. When used correctly, it can be used to break traction when trying to initiate a slide. I know you're new, but you gotta start reading before you post. People will flame you till your ass is sore.

Re: ebrakes mess up ur car?

no it prolly wont mess up your car, but if your on the gas, and pull the ebrake, youll just have one tire spinning, and the other stopped. idk, the ebrake on my car is only on one side, and if you have open differential, that side will stop, making the other tire spin like hell. and youll have a big flat spot on your tire if you have it on too long too

pro drifters use the e-brake all the time during a drift to help increase/decrease the angle of the drift, but naturally they lift off the gas while they do this so as not to fuck up their cars.

there. answered. and since this does not in any way pertain solely to 240SX's, CLOSED.
