2001 Dash Disassembly

A loud squeek has developed in the dash of my 2001 Impala. It is coming from the left side of the heater controls. Does anyone know how the dash comes apart to get at the side of the heater controller? I'm afraid to just just start pulling on parts. I dont want to break any clips or damage the passenger air bag. Any help would be awsome!
THANKS!

one screw under the fuse panel covers on both sides.
pull the plastic cover off your ignition key cylinder.
everything else just pulls apart
Pull straight out and not when the dash is too cold or it will crack
