My car is about to have 500HP from all of the mods I'm putting in. My only concern is damaging the transmission with too much torque by not allowing for some clutch slippage. Which clutch will be best for me?

My RPS Stage 3 clutch is excellent! After the break-in period, I've got all the power I need to get me out into traffic

How much did the stage 3 clutch cost? Where did you get it at? Who put it in for you?

If I only had a dollar for everyone who said they had a 500HP VR-4....
Make sure you know how to drive or that clutch will not last more than a year. Don't slip it. DO NOT SLIP!

i was just noticing the age of the thread...
and that it was almost a year b/n the first 2 posts... and yeah, how many people claim 500hp in a vr4... there are 2 that i know of that have that kinda power, and one makes 450 or so, saw it on the dyno. the other makes 900hp and eats clutches. the 450 has a fairly stock clutch i believe... and more mods than the vr4 that was in sport compact car speaking of that car, it had some mods on it, usually what people have when they claim 500, and he claimed 600... but only made 300... hmm... trend? |

Hey, there is no need to be jealious. lol. No 500hp is a goal. With the drivetrain loss of about 30 percent due to AWD, ill be happy to have that. I have many mods, well a lot of mods. One thing I know is that is that guy you said has 450 at the wheels, he would eat through that clutch so fast. But thats besides the point. This post is about clutches so lets keep it on clutches. Thanks. lol.
