2007 Power sliding door won't close
Hey everybody, I'm working on our 2007 sienna passenger side power sliding door. For a little back ground, I have already replaced the lock release motor (pn 8562008061) on both of these doors once or twice already over the years. Those fixed the issue when the patch simply would open and start the opening process. So I'm familiar with working in these doors.
But I'm not sure what this problem is. Right now the door will open no problem. But when you try to close it, whether using the fob buttons, interior buttons, or the actual door handles, it does nothing. Not motor hums or clicks or anything. Just nothing. I can close it manually, and it does latch closed just fine once you close it. This was pretty intermittent for a while, sometimes it would work, sometimes it wouldn't. But now it seems to be done for good. It really does seem like a motor has gone out, but I don't know which one. Pretty sure it's not the lock release one I've done before, because the latching and releasing works fine. Can anyone identify which motor might be causing this issue? Or what it might be if it's not a motor? I just took off both panels (drivers side works fine), everything seems to work the same. Any ideas or suggestions would be useful. Thanks!
