Universal power lock install
I'm installing power locks in my 2007 chev colbalt. I noticed that the battery is in the back (trunk). I initially thought I would just get an end that would fit on the battery terminal to supply power to the locks. the power wire does have a fuse connected to it. so I figured that would be good.
I would rather feed to the engine compartment though. So is there a spot that I could get 12 V from there. and if so where. Also a picture of the 12 V location (I'm thinking somewhere around the fuse box) is worth a thousand words for me. Hope someone knows. Let me know if I need to be more clear in my problem. |

Re: Universal power lock install
There is a spot with posts where you can jump start the car in the engine bay.

Re: Universal power lock install
I was researching this and someone mentioned the power outlet. I'm thinking that is where I will splice into.
