Revell F430 Novitec 1:24
Hi guys, this is my first post on the forum although I've been following your work in here for a while. Now I finally decided to post some of my work and so it happens just finished this F430... bought it from eBay, no box and warped in few places although far from perfection still happy with final result, another lesson learned and hopefully will improve with next build.
Looking forward to feedback from more experienced modelers but bare in mind I'm beginner although done few models before so be gentle... Few pics of the car I was trying to recreate |

Not bad, the paint job look good, also the details. Did you paint the stripes or use decals?

Re: Revell F430 Novitec 1:24
Good looking F430. I think you have done a pretty good representation of the original. The finish on the white body colour has come up nicely.
Perhaps when your masking for stripes etc, try burnishing the edges of the masking tape a bit with a smooth object or toothpick (careful not to mark the body colour). This should result in a sharper edge on your stripes and prevent 'bleeding' under the masking. Regards, Anthony |

Thanks guys. I know that but for some reason must have forgotten. Pretty gutted about it
Kjenjak yes I've painted stripes with airbrush after masking the whole car. |

Good job, I like it in white. There is a resin transkit that Hobby Design makes for the Fujimi kit:
http://www.hobbyeasy.com/en/data/49331.html It has a lot of fine goodies but for a big buck. I really like what you did with the cheapo revell kit, only one thing to mention, but it's not you, it's the kit: revell wheels are horrible, some HobbyDesign Novitec wheels might give it a better look :-)

Boozer, Is this the Revell US kit, or the Revell Germany release?

Re: Revell F430 Novitec 1:24
I believe this to be a German make however not 100% sure at that point as didn't had box and inside the car markings are forever closed
