I just need to know what engine will fit in a 1990 geo metro lsi
Just bought the old geo from my friend and I wanna get a new engine for it. I've found some stuff for it, but I want and engine. One with more hp than the stock engine. Anybody know which ones or where I can find out?

engine
Yes I do believe I have a wonderful briggs and stratton that should fit nicely under the hood and add several more ponies than stock. No just kidding. Hell Its fuel injected right, right, sorry thinking out loud. The size of motor just depends on what you want to spend and how much you will cut out. Hell go find yourself a Ford Taurus GT or a Lumina APV or a BMW or something like that. Take the entire subframe off your car up front, and attach the entire subframe, engine, trans, from the donor vehicle in its place and cut to fit. Will require some welding and the vehicles ECM, but I imagine the Lumina engine would be relatively cheap and you could damn sure haul some ass. Damn man just noticed you live in tulsa, I live in muskogee, what a coincidence. I am up there every other day. thats odd.
