Question check engine light

My question is first of all I have a 1995 windstar and the check engine light went on and the it tempature was reading hot i took it to the shop and the mechanic said the thermostat was out so the repalce that that then it kept runing hot than they said it was the temp dial and the coolant sensor was out the mechanic then he replaced them plus the main sensor then he said one o2 sensor was reading green after replacing the parts so we took it to the dealer and the put it to their machines and said the 2 o2 sensor were out replced those. We brought the van home at this point the check engin light was not on. Drove it twice and now the check engine went back on help...... so i take it back to the dealer or the independent mechanic

I had a similar problem however the issue disappeared 5000 miles ago since I changed to a better monitored gas brand Amoco 87 octane. Two weeks ago accidentally my wife put some other brand and the check light came on, however dissappeared the next time I filled up with Amoco. I hope that helps your situation
