converting rear drums to discs
I'm buying 1980 firebird and was wondering if anyone has attempted to convert rear drum brakes to Disc Brakes. I'm sure it mut be possible..

What rear axle do you have?

It's the original axle with drum brakes. I there soemthing else I'm supposed to look for?

Ok you should have a 8.5" 10 bolt. So you can get a conversion kit from Stainless Steel Brakes for $636.99 (out of Jegs), or look for another Firebird or camaro with a rear disk set up. I don't know if any other cars will fit though. There could be another.
