91 Q45 No Start

Hello,

Purchased a 1991 Q45 with 170,000 miles a few months ago. The car was running fine. Went to family's last night and several hours later the car won't start.

Here's what has been tried:

Starter is turning over. Checked for fuel by taking off the line between the fuel filter and the fuel rail. Pulled and reinserted the fuel injector fuse for a "flood condition".

Any suggestions on how to resolve the no start problem or what else I can check before resorting to a tow and garage.

I need this car running asap. Thanks in advance for any input.

Darlene

Re: 91 Q45 No Start

You must do a fuel pressure test first to affirm the pressure is sufficient at idle (34 psi) and WOT (43 psi).

After you post a maintenance history, then we can triage the cause.
