Need Help!!

I need you guys again. My Daughter went back to college, she is about 3 miles from the parking lot, she calls and said the 2005 Escape 6 cyl was shaking bad, had an "check emission system" alarm. I tell her to call me when she gets to the parking lot. She calls and said it stopped shaking and the alarm went away as she hung up her phone. I ask her to start the car and run a system check, all checked well, no problems. Is it the EGR Valve? Or a coil pack going bad. I will go Tuesday and go to AZ to have them to check for codes. If its either EGR or a coil pack, can I change either of these in the AZ parking lot? If so what tools do I need to take? Thanks for the advice.

Re: Need Help!!

Took it to the local dealer, on codes were saved. Service told me they have some problems with the spark plugs back feeding and causing the coil to short out. They installed the new and improved plugs. Hope this takes care of the problem. Any one know about this back feeding problem?
