2005 Sienna Engine noise
Hi All,
I was hoping someone could confirm the noise from the engine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVhCWs1pXU8 The noise of interest is toward the end. A mechanic told me it was lifter but wouldnt hurt to confirm. The engine was run with no oil and the car turned off. Now it has been filled and new filter installed, perhaps to late, but it starts and seems to run fine in idle. Is there any chance to repair the damage? Is this something that can be fixed without tearing apart the engine? I dont have any engine lights or oil light On. Maintenance does turn on, but code readers havent shown anything. The car has 140000 miles in it and hasnt given any trouble at all. If I could, I would want this repaired. Many thanks. |
