No Start spark an fuel ok
2000 4.7 liter
Spark=ok,fuel=ok(50 psi)volume good too, injector pulse=ok,no codes(set code so I could check if scanner would read and alls fine with comunication). Sync signal ok. new plugs; engine cranks fine and floods just wont start. Any new avenues I'm stumped? Feel free to ask questions I might have some answers as I have performed other tests too. P.s. I have Modis (snap-on) so I can also perform tests per your suggestions. |

Re: No Start spark an fuel ok
Starved for air?!?
Also, the computer is capable of shutting down the fuel pump for security purposes. But this usually shows up as car starts and runs for a few seconds until after the 3rd attempt. Then it won't even try to fire. |

Re: No Start spark an fuel ok
fuel pump is fine,as is the asd relay and circuit, and map, ect, tps, iac, grounds. Thinking computer is bad.
Thanks though. Customer can't afford any more diagnostic time so truck will be gone soon. |

Re: No Start spark an fuel ok
I have seen this myself. The ignition coil is weak. You will see spark, but it will be a white color spark. Don't be fooled. It is not strong enough to fire, under compression pressures. New coil fixes this. You will then have a nice snap and blue spark. Good luck.
