2001 Corolla Clicks When Driving Straight
Background: 2001 Corolla. Approx 100,000 miles.
Car recently started making a clicking noise. Sourced to somewhere near passenger-side front wheel. Thought it was a CV issue, but all the information on CV issues says that they are worse when turning and make noise in both forwards and reverse, neither of which are true here. Also don't think it's anything caught in the tread, it doesn't make noise in reverse. Notes about this clicking noise: - Proportional to speed: clicks faster the faster you drive - Doesn't happen in Reverse, only in Drive (not even if you turn in Reverse) - Makes the same amount of noise whether accelerating, braking, or neither, turning or not turning. It's 100% based on forwards speed. Thoughts? |

Still most likely the CV joint.
