2010 Complete Coolant Hose, Belt R/R

I did this about a year ago thought it may help someone. This write up is a copy of my write up from another blog site.

3.5 L 112k miles

Replaced all hoses and belt. The hoses were a bit ticklish. I was able to do the hose change w/o any special tools. water pump pliers 2 sizes, regular pliers 3 sizes and a small pair of needle beaked vice grips. All OE clamps reused.

I did remove the heater pipes from the front of the engine to gain access to lower clamp on by-pass hose and heater pipe to engine hose.

Time not a factor I also removed the air box to gain more room to firewall heater hose clamps.

The lower radiator hose inlet (left side)-- removed splash shield ( three plastic rivets)
removed one 10mm cap screw from air dam (left side) to gain working space.

This hose clamp locked itself open with one good squeeze ( did not know this going in). this style clamp made the reinstall a breeze. This is the only connection with this type of clamp. working space here very minimal.

8 hoses total, 7 tailor made, 1 cut to length 5/8 .I.D. The upper radiator hose also has to be trimmed. Beware to cut the end that has the larger O.D., a hub bulge is visible on this end.

fyi the thermostat housing mounted to engine lower radiator hose outlet (right side)
The radiator has a drain c**k lower right side of radiator. accessible from top.

Yes, coolant replaced also.
