Coolant system problem
Hi all,
I just pulled the Beretta in the garage after a 80 mile drive, all seemed fine. I shut the car off, exit the garage and then hear what sounds like rain pouring down inside the garage..I go back in and the garage is all steamed up and coolant all over the floor..I tried to look to see if a hose blew off, I couldn't see if one had, it's pitch black and I have very little light in the garage. The temp gauge read normal the entire trip, it actually runs very cool hovering at about the 1/4 mark on the temp gauge.. Just seems weird that after I shut the car off and parked it this happened..anyone have this happen to them before? I'll pull the car outside in the morning in the light and hopefully be able to see what happened..

Re: Coolant system problem
if you have a leak in the system the temp will go near or to the boiling point because the system will not pressurize. The guage only goes to the extreme end of the guage if the system is pressurized.
