95' Sonoma Loose Front End

I just bought a 95' Sonoma. The front end is pretty loose. Steering wheel has a lot of play in it. I know that it needs upper and lower control arm bushings. Should I just rebuild the front end? My fiance is 5 months pregnant and I want the truck to be safe for her. So, should I just spend the extra cash and do control arms, ball joint, tie rods, the whole shot? Just looking for other opinions/options. Thanks.

Best to take it to a front end speciality shop and have them check it out for you. Parts are readily available at affordable prices if you choose to do it yourself. There's a good parts wholesaler not far from you in Farmington Hills.
