Re: Whats your car history
I have owned many cars and trucks over the years. All were bought used starting in 1983, except where noted. This list is roughly in chronological order. For the last 25 years, I've owned 7 to 10 cars at any one time
1. 1977 Jeep Wagoneer (acquired 1983, the only car I truly regret selling, 6.6 liter V8, rare) 2. 1984 Jeep Wagoneer (1984 - its the compact XJ version. Loved it, but had reliability problems. Still have it) 3. 1979 Ford Mustang (Pace-car replica, shouldn't have sold it) 4. 1979 BMW 733 - Beautiful car, sold it just before it fell apart 5. 1977 Lincoln Mk V - Very reliable, still have it. 6. 1979 Chevrolet G20 van - short-box with a 5.7 V8, rare combination, great truck. 7. 1978 Plymouth Fury - bought for parts/field car. Was stolen 8. 1973 Buick Century - too rusty to rescue but a great car.Was stolen 9. 1976 Plymouth Duster - bought for parts/field car. 10. 1981 Ford Escort 11. 1977 Chevrolet Impala - bought for parts 12. 1982 Pontiac Parisienne - Like new, should have kept it. 13. 1968 Ford Thunderbird - still own it, a joy to have. 14. 1979 Chevrolet Bel Air - bought for parts. 15. 1981 Cadillac Fleetwood - I modded this one extensively 16. 1981 Cadillac Deville - for parts 17. 1984 Chevrolet S10 - A great compact pick-up truck. 18. 1980 Chevrolet C10 - full size stepside pick up truck. This truck ended up in the movie Half-Baked as a background prop. 19. 1984 Pontiac Fiero 20. 1989 Subaru 21. 1980 Chevrolet G10 van - shortbox version 22. 1991 GMC Sonoma 23. 1953 Chrysler Newport - hot rod project 24. 1977 Pontiac Trans -Am - with T-roofs, Pontiac 400 and a 4-spd, black, just like Smokey and the Bandit - sadly, too rusty to save 25. 1969 Pontiac GTO - still have it 26. 1965 Buick Wildcat - project car 27. 1967 Lincoln Continental - project car 28. 1967 Ford Thunderbird - parts car 29 1968 Ford Thunderbird - parts car, still have it 30. 1983 GMC G20 van - 8 passenger version, still have it. 31. 1993 Ford F350 4x4 - work truck 32. 1986 Ford F350 dually diesel- work truck 33. 1987 Ford F350 dually gasoline- work truck 34. 1983 Chevrolet C20 4x4 - work truck 35. 1998 Plymouth Voyager - leased 36. 2000 Ford F550 - work truck 37. 1987 Ford Mustang. 38. 1997 Cadillac Deville - still have it 39. 1984 Toyota Supra - still have it 40. 1990 Jeep Cherokee - still have it. 41. 1988 Pontiac Bonneville - Great car. |
