Bubbles in Power Steering Reservoir
We have a 1998 Acura 3.0cl and recently had the timing belt and water pump replaced.
The steering wheel squeaks when turning. We checked the power steering reservoir and its full. Went back to mechanic and he only lifted reservoir out of the way a little but didn't touch otherwise. There are bubbles in the reservoir, we jacked up the car and turned the steering wheel both ways for a long time and still squeaks. Will time only take care of this problem? What about trying Lucas Power steering fluid treatment and Honda Power steering fluid only? Please help. Thank you. |

Re: Bubbles in Power Steering Reservoir
Took car to Exclusively Honda repair shop and an O-ring in one of hoses had worn down and was allowing air to go back into reservoir. Replaced the O ring; cost of $135 and replaced the power steering fluid and all good.
