Clean mold infestation of volvo?
So my Volvo is infested with mold. (Not my fault, but now it must be fixed) It sat in the rain too long (I believe that there is a leak in the roof), and now the entire interior of the car is covered with mold. I think that it is even in the ventilation system, so I'll have to figure that one out as well. The problem is, the only way I will be able to take care of this is if i can actually get the car dried out. And the only place where I can do this is outside. And because I live in a rainforest that is going to be tricky...
Does anybody have any solutions for getting the car dry in the rain, or to a similar situation? I'm going to rig up a tarp to try and keep it out of the rain, but I don't know how to actually dry the car out in 100% humidity. Thanks |

Re: Clean mold infestation of volvo?
Here's the only tip I can give when my heater core blew out and soaked the interior carpet. Pulled all the seats, pulled up all the carpet. Under the carpet is padding. If it in fact molded, replace it. The carpet I pressure washed with little bleach before hand. As far as the vents, no clue. Good luck.. And a couple of fans to keep air moving inside.
