90 Lumina 3.1 - Does your Lumina like non-ethanol gas?

They started puting ethanol in our gas in the mid 90's obvoiusly after our early 90's Lumina's were design and built. I know the epa and everyone says it dont make a difference besides a slight loss in MPG. Ive been running the standard 10% ethanol gas in my car sense ive been driving it but reciently have found several gas stations selling non-ethanol gas. Ive been keeping extensive logs of my gas usage and mileage on my lumina and i want to see the results of running pure gas over a month period and test the following data.

Performance - Gas Mileage - Does it idle and run better?

What results have any of you all had? I will post mine starting this weekend.

E-10 vs. E-0 gasoline won't make much difference. Perhaps slightly poorer gas mileage with E-10, along the lines of 3--4 %. Some of that will depend on what OTHER additives are in the gasoline--MTBE, for example.

I've run E-10 (used to be called "Gasohol" around here) since 1980 or '81. Never had a problem I could blame on the alcohol content. Some others had issues with water-contaminated fuel especially in the early days--the alcohol would mix with the water that leaked into the gas station's underground tank, and then transfer the mess into the vehicle's gas tank. That almost never happens now because the EPA requires better underground tanks.

Ive finished fixing some issues with the car and waiting to get my baseline with the e-10 fuel with this tank of gas. When i feel up next time it will be with pure gas and i will post results.
