99 silouette diagnosis n steps to repair please? H2O in oil
K a little over a month ago the van started smoking or steaming infront of the drivers side. Then on occasion the heater would only blow cold. A few days a go it began to run hot and consume antifreeze without leaking. Now after a day of driving w heater on and filling the resivoir I have water in oil. I need to know whats the possible issue, how to trouble shoot and step by step instructions to fix...Thx

Sounds like you have the very common and well know lower intake gaskets leaking. These are also know to pop head gaskets when they overheat.
If the oil is milky than stop driving it. The main bearings are very sensitive to water contamination in the oil.

A step-by-step procedure is a little beyond the scope of the forum, but a single vehicle subscription to alldata will give you step by step instructions as well as torque values, etc... You may also be able to get the information on Autozone's website, they own alldata.

Gas only has a few ways to get in the oil. The most prominent being a leaky injector. I think we need to know exactly what happened that had you start looking for water or gas in your oil.
