PCV Valve Location on 04 GTO

Hi, I just bought an 04 GTO and was going to do a tune-up and stuff to it. I was wondering where the PCV valve is located, as I can't seem to see anything resembling it.

Also, no one seems to have a fuel filter for this car. Ive never heard of a car not having a fuel filter, does anyone know where it is located on the vehicle?

Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Alex

The '04-'06 GTOs do not have an external fuel filter than can be serviced or replaced. If there is one it is internal located in the gas tank probably as part of the fuel pump assembly.

Re: PCV Valve Location on 04 GTO

04 GTO's do not have fuel filter inline. It's in the fuel cell and a part of the fuel pump. They also do not a PCV value. In 04 chevy removed the it from LS1 motors as they are efficient enough to pass all emisions tests around the country is my understanding.

In 03 and earlier versions it is located in the valley under the intake manifold if I recall. Quite the PITA to get to...

Best thing to do is add a catch can and keep oil from entering the intake.
