99 Durango or 95 Honda Accord for a 04 Mitsubishi Endeavor - Help me buy my car.
Hello all!
First time to the forum but need some advice. I own two car, both with the title. 1. Honda Accord 95 lx 153,000 miles. Great condition, but starting to get a little old. Oil leaks, ext. Timing belt was changed at 120,000 miles and new clutch at 140,000. (books out for about $3500 but maybe could get $2900) 2. Dodge Durango 99 92,000 miles great car, but needs about $500 in body work from a small accident. (books out for $5000 - but maybe could get $4000) A family member is offering to sell me a 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor in perfect condition with 160,000 miles (almost all freeway) for $4,000. My question, is this a good deal? I know nothing and I am struggling to find info about the Mistsubishi's. But the comparison prices in my area are much higher. Some people are selling the same car with 130,000 miles for $10,000. If it is a good deal, I would need to sell a car, which one should I sell? I am leaning towards the Honda since it is older and having some struggles. Thanks in advance, if this in the wrong section please feel free to bump my post to somewhere else appropriate. Re: Need Advice on buying a car
If you go to www.kbb.com , the Kelly Blue Book web site , you can enter the info on all three vehicles and get the comparative values of all . They will give you the retail value , the private party value , and the trade in value . You can compare the results and make your determination ! Good luck and keep us updated !

Re: Need Advice on buying a car
Do not ever go by the Kelly Blue Book, over priced and very unaccurate. The NADA book is more accurate over the Kelly Blue Book and most dealers go by the NADA book
