Battery: how to removing back seat

have a 93 BMW 525i and I can not remove the back seat to access the battery as noted in the manual. it shows to have two clips or access point on each side of the rear center armrest, but there are non that I can find in this car. so basically the pictures shown in the manual are not matching the physical seat. I cannot pull up on the seat neither. any help would be appreciated. thanks

Re: Battery: how to removing back seat

Sure I know how to remove the rear seat. Move front seat foward. Grab front of rear seat where it meets the carpet. Yank up or snatch up the front of the seat, the connectors that hold the seat in are rite behind the drivers and pass seat.1 on each side.......Bill.
