1989 Electra PA inner tie rod end repl.
Could somebody give me a step-by-step to replace the inner tie rod end on the passenger side? I haven't had to replace an inner end before, and I'm 600 miles from home so I don't have my manuals handy. I have a place to do the alignment and if it is easier I can have them replace the tie rod end but I'd like to save some money if I could.

Re: 1989 Electra PA inner tie rod end repl.
those guides are just terrible...so just to make sure, after removing the inner boot, the inner T.R.E. just spins off with the tie rod (assuming no oxidation)?

It should spin off but from what I understand you need a special tool to break it loose. Honestly, I think you'd be better off to let the alignment shop replace it.
This is about a week old now but just in case you haven't gotten it done yet
