New ET Record for Traditional Pontiac V8
It's official!!! The Drunken Injun, TA/FC powered by a traditional Pontiac V8, has passed the old mark during test.
In August, Jeff Kauffman went 6.62 @ 209 in his RED at 1,800 lbs. Norwalk, Ohio Saturday, LD Wilcox went 6.59 @ 184, TA/FC, 2,455 lbs. at Virginia Motorsports Park. First pass was 6.71 @ 205. He had to "lift" at the 1/8 mile on the second pass and still managed the 6.59. 1/8 mile was 4.18 @ 170. Strictly a "shake down", this car will be in the 5s before long!
