j30 1995 cruise control not working
I read a posting by Infinman dated 12-22-2004 @ 3:06pm about a strong possibilty that the brake light switch could be inop if the cruise control green light comes on at the dash level.. Mine does, but the green light inside the instrument cluster no longer does and that to me means no working cruise.
I've checked the under the hood wiring - no problem there. I've swapped the on steering wheel switch assembly - no probnlem there. Just how does the brake light switch work into this sytem and where is it located? Are you Infinman still out there or does someone else know the answer? Thanks... |

i dont think your brake lights will become inoperable just because your cruise control light comes on. my brake lights still work when i use cruise. you might want to have the relay for your brakes light assembly checked out.
